
THE HPA WAY: LEARN ABOUT THE HPA DIFFERENCE


HPA Security & Investigations only puts the most qualified security professionals in service. An effective security officer needs the right training and tools for success. A large part of the HPA Way is our focus on our security officers being well trained professionals. Officers here received continued in-service training that goes beyond the state required minimum. They are also equipped with the physical tools needed to be effective in a variety of situations. Officers here are issues radio communication devices, body cameras, and access to an extensive internal system named H.U.D.S (Harris Utility and Dispatch.) This system allows our security professionals to access and share information with each other and our clients in a way solely unique to our company. Our security officers are trained to employ these skills and tools properly.


In-Service Training
HPA Security Officers attend 1 hour of in- service training a week. This training covers a wide variety of topics including knowledge of laws and regulations, crime deterance, evidence gathering, contact procedures, ethics training, etc.

Body Cameras
HPA Security Officers are equipped with Body Cameras that operate on an internal cloud system. This footage is used in evidence gathering and can be made available to our clients or law enforcement agencies at request.

Firearms Proficency
HPA Security Officers attend 3 hours of firearms training every month. This is to keep all our officers effective and knowledgable with the functions and proper use of their duty weapons and tactics.

Physical Fitness Training
HPA Security Officers attend 6 hours of Physical Fitness Training a month. This is implemented to ensure our officers can physically perform the duties of the job as well as effectively render assitance to each other or the public in hostile situations.

Community Outreach Program
HPA Security Officer are assigned to 3 hours of community service a month. This helps with our mission of giving back to and mantaining a connection to the communities we work in.
